Italian Winery Best Seller

The famous OTELLO CECI 1813 Lambrusco, the feather in the cap of the CECI 1938 Italian winery, a company with an 80-year history has been confirmed as the best-seller in China for 2020.

CECI 1938 exports the culture of Italian excellence and the typical flavours of the Bel Paese, of which Lambrusco is an outstanding example. With OTELLO CECI 1813, the company has gone further, combining the quality of the product with particular attention to the bottle design, the only one in the world with a square base.

An expression of contemporary lifestyle, with CECI 1938 Lambrusco becomes the manifesto for a young, carefree lifestyle, a true ode to the conviviality and joy that this wine expresses through the charm of its red bubbles. Lambrusco is also one of the few red wines that should be served and tasted cold.

With the hashtags #LambruscoTasteOfItaly and #LambruscoCeciPeople CECI 1938 invites wine enthusiasts and the curious to share their affinity with this lifestyle and join the global community.

"We're proud of our Lambrusco, which has been a speciality of ours for over 80 years. Over time, we've carefully developed it to make it ever more appealing and, above all, suited to different food pairings. Today, OTELLO CECI is unique and unmistakable. We've been exporting it to China for around a decade, and since 2018 in partnership with ROYI Fine Wine -- BUTTIS IF&B. It's enjoyed by a young public, who recognise its inimitable lightness and flavour, a real Italian product, capable of taking centre stage in unforgettable moments", says Maria Paola Ceci, President of CECI 1938.

"A glass of Ceci Lambrusco is more than just a glass of wine. Lambrusco is perfect for entertaining company because it encourages a smile, fuels happiness, and generates optimism. It makes you see the world in red and live the days with the typical lightness of its bubbles", adds Maria Teresa Ceci, CEO of Ceci 1938.

Among friends, with the family, for an "Italian Style" aperitif, over lunch or dinner, OTELLO CECI captivates with its fruity notes such as cherry and berries like blackberry and strawberry. Hints of floral violet notes accompany the pleasantly spicy, mineral finish.

The ultimate Lambrusco with a multifaceted personality, OTELLO CECI has a rich palette of colours, from the intense ruby red of the nectar to the lighter crimson of the froth that forms when pouring and lights up the glass brilliantly. A lively, full-bodied wine with a sparkling, social character and a smooth flavour, to be enjoyed cold.

A wine of contrasts, whose exuberant personality blends perfectly with the minimalist contours of a stylish bottle. The latter is given a bold touch by the unusual square base, a regular, discreet shape that is adopted on the labels, where the words toy with one another in an exchange between positive and negative, black and gold with a vintage effect that celebrates Otello Ceci, the creative visionary who founded the winery.

Cantine CECI 1938, an international winery for over 80 years, brings the passion of Italian tradition to the world, together with a forward-looking vision and a relentless desire for innovation. CECI 1938 produces one of the world's best-loved Lambrusco wines -- the famous red bubbles -- a wine that the company has transformed over time into a unique nectar, setting new standards of recognisability. It's a smooth wine, an ode to conviviality that lends itself beautifully to pairing; a true icon of the winery's modernity.

CECI's Lambrusco wines include the OTELLO CECI 1813 Edition NerodiLambrusco and Lambrusco, BRUNO CECI Lambrusco Spumante Brut, TERRE VERDIANE 1813 Lambrusco, 27 OPERE Lambrusco, and ON'I OTELLON'ICE Lambrusco Spumante Demi-Sec.

The Ceci winery, established in 1938 by Otello Ceci, experienced an initial period of growth in the 1960s under Otello's sons Bruno and Giovanni, who made their mark on the company for the next twenty years.

Environmental Activity in Greece

Environmental Activity in Greece

On May 26th, "Joining hands with clean energy, sharing a better life—simulation exercise of emergency rescue for enterprises" was held in Gramatikach Wind Farm, Greece. This is one of the open day activities of China Energy Europe Renewable Energy. It aims to deepen the knowledge and understanding of green and clean energy among local Greek youth, enhance the emergency rescue capability of enterprises, and increase the environmental protection and self-protection awareness of employees and people nearby.

The emergency rescue simulated the first accidental situation in which the wind turbine maintenance personnel were rescued from being trapped in the 70-meter-high nacelle due to unexpected situations by using a life-saving basket for transportation to the ground. Rescuers used ropes and a real person to simulate the second "accident" of landing directly from the nacelle to the ground. The whole process was organized orderly and operated quickly, which demonstrated the emergency handling ability and coordination support ability of the wind farm and the No.4 EMAK emergency rescue team. Afterwards, the guests visited the training equipment and rescue facilities of the rescue team and had a warm exchange with the team members. Students who observed the simulation said that it was thrilling and amazing.

Xiao Junzheng, Chinese Ambassador to Greece, Christos Metios, Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in Greece, Marios Apostolidis, General of Middle Macedonia-Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Fire Service, members of No.4 EMAK of Komotini and teachers and students of Komotini No.8 Primary School participated in this activity.

On May 24th, two days before the activity, Europe Renewable Energy and Komotini No.8 Primary School jointly held the campus activity "New Energy, New Hope and New Future" to popularize new energy knowledge for children. The company sincerely hopes that while delivering green electricity to the Greek people, it will give priority to safety of employees and safe production of the enterprise, and continue to care for the development of the next generation, making its own contribution to local education, green development and environmental protection.

Greece is all about: history, culture, flavours, colours, islands, mountains, but most of all, the people and their hospitality. Now hopefully we can add environmental responsibility to the list.

The Charismatic Queen Elizabeth II

The Charismatic Queen Elizabeth II

With a recent surprise jubilee day 4 appearance on the palace balcony, Queen Elizabeth is renowned as the longest-serving British monarch. She is a global icon when it comes to elegance and responsibility. Despite spending decades living her life in the eye of the media, she is a relatively private monarch. Elizabeth is a believer in keeping the monarchy a mystery to the outside world. For this reason, she has kept her private life completely hidden. These might be the reason why these little-known facts about the adoring grandma and self-sufficient woman are so endearing.

She married her third cousin- Prince Philip; Philip and the Queen share great-great-grandparents, Prince Albert and Queen Victoria, who were first cousins. As a result, they are third cousins. She fell for Prince Philip when she was 13 years old- When Princess Elizabeth met Philip Mountbatten, who was then an 18-year-old cadet in the British navy, she was just a pre-teen. At age 17, Elizabeth had decided he was the guy she wanted to spend her life with.

They were secretly engaged for three years. The press discovered the link between them when they saw Philip assisting the princess in putting her coat on during her wedding in 1946. The pair was privately engaged at the time, but the Palace delayed making the official announcement for three years until Elizabeth was 21. Their marriage set a record- The royal love tale of Elizabeth and Philip has endured the test of time. They've been together for 73 years. Elizabeth II became the first British Queen to commemorate her diamond wedding anniversary in 2007 after achieving a milestone of 60 years of marriage.

Philip nicknamed her after a vegetable- Her husband fondly referred to her as "cabbage." No one is certain about this, but The Sunday Times speculated in 2006 that it may have originated from the French term "mon petit chou," which translates to "my little pastry puff" or "my tiny cabbage". She's a big Downton Abbey fan- The Queen has watched every episode of the popular British period drama. She is said to have enjoyed pointing out the few historical mistakes in the series to others who watched it with her.

She eats a surprisingly un-royal breakfast- The Queen's favourite breakfast, despite having a royal chef and a culinary team at her disposal, is Kellogg's Corn Flakes, which she stores mostly on the breakfast table in a Tupperware container. She also enjoys Twinings Earl Grey tea with milk and no sugar.

She was a mechanic during World War II- King George VI initially opposed his daughter enlisting, but he finally agreed. In 1945, Princess Elizabeth was part of the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service. This made her the royal family's lone female military member.

During the war, she served as a truck driver and mechanic. She's been known to work with the Range Rovers at Balmoral when there are issues under the hood. Elizabeth decided not to adopt more corgis- During her lifetime, she has had over 30 Pembroke Welsh corgis, all of which were descendants of her first corgi named Susan. Willow, the most recent, died in 2018. The Queen reportedly informed her attendants that owing to her advanced age; she would not bring another corgi to Buckingham Palace.

The Queen Skypes with her great-grandchildren- According to reports, Her Majesty is a loving great-grandmother who adores her increasing family of great-grandkids. When she is away on trips, she utilizes Skype to keep in touch with the children and always carries with her small gifts from the trips. Kate Middleton claimed that when the Queen comes to visit, she likes to put tiny presents in George and Princess Charlotte's chambers.

Queen Elizabeth is the only citizen of the United Kingdom who has the authority to drive without a license- The Queen has not once taken a driver's test, and her vehicles have no registration plates, although she has always enjoyed driving. She doesn't have a license because she doesn't need one—all licenses in the United Kingdom are issued in her name. The Queen was reluctant to give up driving on public roads, but she did so after being persuaded by the security team.

The Queen went to her first fashion show in 2018- While she has always loved fashion, she just actually made her first front-row appearance at the runway show of up-and-coming designer Richard Quinn at London Fashion Week in 2018. Anna Wintour, Vogue's editor-in-chief, sat next to her. Her Majesty's chair was easy to spot because it was the only one with a striking velvet cushion.
